UNIT II
Lighting Suggestions
Students will compare and contrast a variety of lighting situations in their final photographs.
Soft & Dramatic: Same subject different lighting. Light quality...the larger the light source, the softer and more even the light. The smaller the light source, the more directional and dramatic it is. For example, daylight/sun vs. flash. Be aware of the lighting and ask yourself if your approach adds or detracts from the mood/personality you are trying to create. Create two different moods using each lighting technique.
